UAE Ambassador to Mozambique Visits Sheikh Hamdan School

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum School in Chibuto district, Gaza province, Mozambique, received Mutasim Al Rahma, the UAE ambassador to the country, who examined the school and its academic, cultural, administrative and social role in that area.

He was welcomed by the representative of the Ministry of Education of Mozambique, the government of Gaza Province, the director of the Al Maktoum Foundation Office in Mozambique and the school administration. The school held a ceremony on this occasion, during which the representative of the government, students and teachers extended thanks and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid on those great services provided to the region and Mozambican people. They also extended their praise and appreciation to the Ambassador of the UAE for his visit to the region.

During his speech at the ceremony, the UAE Ambassador to Mozambique expressed his pleasure to visit the school of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan, whose generosity extended all-round the African continent, carrying the torch of knowledge and culture. The Ambassador also thanked the government of Mozambique and the province of Gaza for facilitating the projects of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid. He also thanked the school administration for excellent efforts and educational, social and cultural activities in that region.

Chibuto School was launched in 2001 and large number of students have graduated from it, who have now become symbols for the Mozambican society in various fields, as doctors, engineers and administrators in the State.
